GTC Financial began as Gladstone Tax Consultants in the 1980s handling mostly wage and salary tax returns. Over the past 10 years it has grown to a team of 16 and expanded the range of services provided to their clients. The firm is a blend of youth and experience.

Neville Hughes (Managing Director)

Neville Hughes is a Certified Practising Accountant and Certified Financial Planner who specializes in tax, business advice and financial planning. Neville’s qualifications include a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) and a Graduate Management Qualification from The University of NSW.

Neville draws on over 25 years experience gained from a variety of roles in the Corporate Sector and Public Practice. This breadth of experience has given Neville an in-depth knowledge of business and ensures he is able to help you achieve your goals.

Michele O’Connor (Director)

Michele O’Connor is a Certified Practising Accountant and Financial Planning Specialist. Michele is the Director responsible for the Financial Planning Division at GTC Financial. Michele is an Authorised Representative of Futuro Financial Services and has been an accountant since May 2000 and a Financial Adviser since 2003. Her experience has been gained through public practice and she holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) Degree. Her qualifications also include FPS (Financial Planning Specialist) and Registered Tax Agent. Michele is also a member of the Certified Practising Accountants of Australia and the Financial Planning Association. Michele has attained certificates in Financial Planning, Insurance, Risk Management and Superannuation. Michele can assist you to achieve your financial goals to ensure you have the retirement you want.
